This program discusses the relationship between art and society by looking at specific examples from different areas in Asia. What is the role of art in the society? How do artists relate themselves to the society? These are some questions that will be tackled in the panel to elaborate the ever-changing role of art/artists in the globalized society.

WorkshopFictive Communities, Asia [Click→]


This informal group workshop facilitates knowledge sharing, dialogues and networks among general public, university students, artists of Koganecho Bazaar 2014, and art organizers from the Asian region. Through the workshop, everyone’s input will organically form discussion groups. The workshop also includes a tour of Koganecho Bazaar 2014. Everyone is welcome to join.
