UuDam Tran Nguyen was born in 1971, Kontum, Vietnam.
After receiving his BA from UCLA in 2001, he moved to New York from 2003 to attend the MFA program at the School of Visual Arts. He works in many mediums includes Internet car paintings, photos, video, installations and performances. His works touches upon many areas of his interests: sex, politics, power, environment, individual vs collective, etc. He is interested in the intersect between technology, science, philosophy and social issues.
