Cindy Mochizuki was born in 1976, Vancouver, Canada.
Mochizuki is an interdisciplinary artist with a practice that includes drawing, animation, multi-media installation, collaborations, and performance. Her works explore the space between the fictional and the documentary; integrating archival sources and interviews as a common thread within the process of her work. She screened and exhibited both nationally and internationally and has received her MFA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the School For Contemporary Arts at Simon Fraser University.
